Are you ready to feel better emotionally, mentally and/or physically? Have you reached a personal, professional and/or spiritual "cross-roads," yearning for transformation and new understanding? These elements of our lives are interdependent, and individuals today are exploring complementary paths to wellness in increasing numbers.
Serving clients virtually through a secure tele-health platform in California and Colorado with intermittent in-person availability, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT CA #46082 & CO #0001118) with additional training in integrative wellness (Certificated Integrative Mental Health Professional) and therapeutic expressive arts. As a transpersonal therapist, I combine conventional mental health treatment interventions with emerging, evidence-based complementary support for a holistic approach to mental, emotional, spiritual and/or somatic well-being.
Mind-body-spirit approaches are varied and flexible, offering benefits that simply range from supporting a healthy lifestyle to providing an influential boost toward healing as an adjunct to conventional treatment approaches.
I work with each client to set goals of treatment while identifying interventions that are comfortable and meaningful to the individual. Therapeutic interventions offered depend upon the client's needs and interests. Approaches may include traditional psychotherapy such as Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy as well as expressive-arts interventions, spiritual support, and evidence-based mindfulness techniques such as relaxation and guided visualization.
