Stress Reduction
Stress is a normal part of life, but when it is extreme and left untreated, it can lead to a host of physical and mental disorders including hypertension, inflammation, depression and anxiety. 

In addition to discussing chronic and/or recent stressors to find new perspectives on these life events, I teach my clients effective ways to reduce and manage stress such as progressive relaxation of the body, breathing techniques to induce calm, basic mindfulness techniques, guided imagery/visualization, and psychoeducation regarding gentle herbal approaches to support body, mind and soul.
