Are you ready to feel better emotionally, mentally and/or physically? Have you reached a personal, professional and/or spiritual "cross-roads," yearning for transformation and new understanding? These elements of our lives are interdependent, and individuals today are exploring complementary paths to wellness in increasing numbers.
Serving clients virtually through a secure, online platform (ie. Zoom) in Colorado and California, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with additional training in integrative wellness and the expressive arts. I look at well-being from every angle combining traditional mental health diagnosis and treatment interventions with emerging, evidence-based complementary support for a holistic approach to mental, emotional and somatic health. For some clients, intuition and spirituality are part of the picture they wish to consider.
Mind-body-spirit approaches are varied and flexible, offering benefits that simply range from supporting a healthy lifestyle to providing an influential boost toward healing as an adjunct to conventional treatment approaches.
I work with each client to set goals of treatment while identifying interventions that are comfortable and meaningful to the individual. Therapeutic interventions offered depend upon the client's needs and interests, and may include traditional psychotherapy such as Brief/Solution-Focused therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), as well as expressive-arts interventions, spiritual support, and evidence-based mindfulness techniques such as relaxation and guided visualization.
